We take over handling of the vessel starting from arrival in the port to delivery at the final destination which can include engineering, rigging & labor, surveys, permits, escorts and ensuring the cargo arrives safe and in compliance with all legal requirements.
To support expanded steel production in the US we’ve helped our clients import heavy machinery for steel production to new and expanded plants. We provide our customers with all necessary permits and labor such as cranes, police and civilian escorts, heavy haul and rigging. For steel product exports we often load coils by breakbulk or loaded and stuffed into containers.
Our 19’ high and 16’ wide cargo needed permits, escorts, and bucket trucks to be transported to the jobsite. We delivered this turnkey project for a gas plant from the Middle East and Southeast Asia to Texas.
For a gas plant, we loaded Coolers and accessories and part chartered a geared vessel to deliver the cargo to the Port of Houston, and then from the port to the jobsite. Charter agreements need to be closed in accordance with the jobs specifications, such as budget and timeline.
4 modules each with a length of 62’ each and height of almost 15’ and a weight of 80,000 to 100,000 lbs. each, loaded on a 9 axle truck.
Pressure vessel (21 x 3.6 x 3.8 m and 43MT) loaded on an 11 axle truck for delivery to the job site. Permits and survey were in hand prior to the loading. Pipe racks between 72,000 and 92,000 lbs. lifted with a 90MT crane on to trucks for delivery to the job site.
Delivery of an Oil & Gas plant from the US to Mexico by cross-border trucking. For this project timing was a huge challenge. Because of fabrication delays modules that were on the critical path to prevent work stoppages needed to be delivered as quickly as possible after being completed. US to Mexico cross border is one of our core businesses and our cross border supply-chain is currently the fastest in the market.
Loading of 39 crates from the shipper's site to the warehouse and port, loading on to high cube, flat rack and open top containers for export. It was a challenge to stuff the containers in a timely fashion to avoid paying a detention fee from the shipping line and to get all containers onto the same vessel.
